Vanessa Hudgens was one of the many celebrities who attended this year's Coachella music festival.
Hudgens took this opportunity to debut her new look ... as a blonde! The Spring Breakers star is the latest celebrity to ditch their brunette hair and turn to a much lighter shade.
"Mermaid hair!!!! A big thank you to @ninezeroone and @greatlengthsusa #blondesdohavemorefun =) can't believe @riawnacapri made me this blonde!!!" Hudgens wrote on her personal Instagram account on Saturday.
Not only did she color her hair, Hudgens also added some extra long extensions that were dyed the same color. The picture shows her standing against a wall with short denim shorts, an oversized belt, and bikini top. She topped off her look with dangly jewelry and a black sun hat.
Hudgens continued to document her trip by posting a series of Instagram pics. An insider revealed to US Weekly that Hudgens was very sweet and even posed for pictures with guests. "She was standing with a blonde guy," the source said. "Hudgens was very sweet and had no problem posing with guests."
Hudgens' boyfriend Austin Butler, her sister Sella Hudgens and her friend Laura Jayne accompanied her, during the three-day festival. Judging by the photos, Hudgens had an awesome time at the event, but the festivities were not all that brought her to the festival. According to the New York Daily News, McDonalds, one of Hudgens' sponsors, reportedly paid her $15,000 for her appearance.
